- The lead electrician on your file will request a final onsite electrical inspection from an Electrical inspector. (Approx. 3- 7 business days after installation).
- ENMAX Customers: Once the Electrical inspector approves the installed system, we will flip your solar PV breaker to the on position. Once the array is energized, our tech team will set- up your solar energy monitoring account remotely. We’ll send a final invoice at this time too. Rocky View Solar will update your utility company with your approved final inspection and request utility interconnection. (Approx. 3-5 business days). FORTIS Customers: Once the Electrical Inspector approves the installed system, we will submit the report to the utility company to request interconnection and they will assign a crew to come and install the new bi-directional meter. Upon installation of the meter, we will flip your solar photovoltaics breaker to the on position. Once the array is energized, our tech team will set- up your solar energy monitoring account remotely. We’ll send a final invoice at this time too. (Approx. 10-14 business days).
- Once your invoice is paid you’ll receive a Welcome Package with details about your new solar array including specs for your solar panels/inverter models, general solar production info, our maintenance & warranty support and your monitoring instructions with login details.
- If you have applied for the Canada Greener Homes (CGH) grant we will provide you with the Grant Detailed Project Summary so you can request your funds from CGH.
